There is too much crime in Staten Island these days.
New York Post Online Edition: gossip: "STASHA Lipka - the 23-year-old daughter of David Bowie's ex-wife Angela - says she was raped and beaten by a 300-pound drug dealer on Wednesday. Angela, who was married to the rock legend from 1970 to 1980, took the unusual step yesterday of asking PAGE SIX to expose the horrific attack on her daughter in hopes that it will spur cops to catch the rapist. 'It makes my stomach turn,' an anguished Angela told us. 'But we want to humanize this. One in four women are sexually assaulted. We want this guy caught.' Lipka says she was attacked Wednesday morning in her Staten Island home. 'He offered me money for sex,' Lipka said yesterday from Staten Island University Hospital. 'When I refused, he raped me. He beat me up real bad. I'm bruised and bloody.' An NYPD spokeswoman confirmed that Lipka reported the attack to a detective at Staten Island's 123rd Precinct. 'It is being investigated,' she said. 'There have been no arrests. They're still conducting interviews.' Lipka's father is Andrew Lipka, formerly known as the punk musician Drew Blood."
